Meet Dr. Jack

Dr. Jack Curtis has been educating, inspiring and motivating audiences for 27 years as a professional speaker.  He is a Professor Emeritus of Health Promotion and is the author of 12 books. In his presentations he draws on his 30 years of teaching experience and his work with National, Olympic and professional athletes to deliver uplifting, educational messages with the perfect blend of humor. 

His messages focus on how we can improve performance by altering our attitudes.  Whether you are looking for a keynote speaker, a banquet speaker or a 1-2 day workshop on wellness, stress management, improved performance, or the benefits of humor, Dr. Jack will tailor his message to meet your needs. 

He has presented to over 800 diverse groups covering business, government, health care, education and athletics throughout the United States and in Canada and China.

·        The Milwaukee Brewers Minor League Affiliates (1988-1992, and 2002-2004).  Won Triple A World Championship (Denver Zephyrs) and  9 divisional championships at AAA, AA, A, and Rookie levels during this span.  Also, won TOPPS Minor League Organization of the year Award 5 times in the 8 years I worked with them. 

·        University of Minnesota Baseball Team (1987-1988).  Team won Big 10 Divisional Championship in 1987 and the Big 10 Conference Overall Championship in 1988.

·        University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Men’s Track and Field Teams (1987-2002).  Teams have won 12 NCAA National Championships since 1987.  Six outdoor Championships and 6 indoor Championships and they hold the record for scoring the highest point total of any NCAA Team in History (1991)

·        Individual Mental Imagery Coach for Andrew Rock, 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist in the 400 meter relay

·        U.S. Olympic Curling Team (1991-1992).  Won the Olympic Bronze Medal as a demonstration sport.

·        U.S. Army Golden Knights.  Worked with both the Accuracy team and the RW Teams (1989-1990).  Accuracy Team won National Championship in 1990 and RW Team won both National and World Championships in 1990.

·        University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field Teams (1982-1984).  Teams won 3 NCAA National Championships in Track and Field and 1 AAUW National Championship in Cross Country during that time.
